Then you should be able to see which version of direct X is installed on your computer. It should be enabled if it is installed on your computer. You might consider upgrading your hardware. Am using the latest window version nd my dxdiag says am using directx12 but I cannot install any game on the laptop. The software keeps on telling me that I require atleast directx9.
When I downloaded the directx9, the software informs me that the laptop cannot install it because it is incompatible with the system.
